Hiring Owner Operators

IMTUSA is currently seeking experienced owner operators (lease operators) with late model tractors to join our growing fleet. 

IMTUSA is a specialized transport carrier that primarily focuses on high-value cargo in the aerospace industry. Here is just a sample of the cargo we haul:

• Jet Engines
• Helicopters and related components
• Landing gear, cowlings and other aircraft components
• Satellites and related space components
• MRI magnets and other medical equipment
• Military equipment

Due to the high-profile nature of the cargo we transport, our owner operators are considered an extension of our company fleet. Our drivers are trained and expected to provide a higher level of awareness, attention to detail and service to our clients.

IMTUSA has set the standard for excellence in the trucking industry, millions of dollars are at stake with every shipment that we do which is why we require the following qualifications:

Driver Qualifications

• 5 years flat deck experience hauling machinery
• Minimum 5 years of accident free driving
• Clean drivers abstract
• Look, dress and act like a professional at all times

Equipment Qualifications

• Clean and well-maintained tie-down equipment, including tarps
• Step deck or low-bed trailers (if you own a trailer)

**IMTUSA can supply you with a trailer. If supplying your own trailer, we ask that you be willing to use our trailer if required for specific loads. Certain loads require specific types of trailers and we have invested heavily in our equipment**
